About Kentucky Cannabis Company

Kentucky Cannabis Company was built in Kentucky through plant work, field work, greenhouse work, and years of steady effort. What began in 2014 as a hands-on hemp research project grew into a family-built company with deep roots in the state’s modern hemp record.

This history is rooted in documented firsts. Bill Polyniak was the first person in Kentucky under the 2014 hemp pilot program for cannabinoid research, and on March 16, 2014, he brought the first hemp plants back into Kentucky.

A Company Built Through Real Work

This page is meant to read like a company record, not a sales page. The history of Kentucky Cannabis Company starts with live plants, long days, trial work, field conditions, greenhouse work, drying rooms, and the people who kept showing up for it.

That early work still matters because it explains how the company was built. It did not start with branding. It started with real plants, real timing, and real work done in Kentucky.

Some facts are worth stating plainly because they define the beginning of the company and the work that followed.

Why This History Matters

Kentucky Cannabis Company did not appear overnight. It was built through real work done over time by family and crew, in the field and in controlled spaces, through trial, record-keeping, and repetition.

That is why the early photos and dated milestones still matter. They show where the company began, what it took to keep moving, and why the record is worth preserving.
